Today's growth market saw a mix of buying and selling. The U.S. market on the 14th moved weakly. Initially, there was a favorable reaction to the drop in long-term interest rates after the market opened, but with confirmation of persistent inflation in the October Producer Price Index (PPI) and indications of labor market strength through new initial jobless claims, long-term interest rates reversed course and the market turned downward. In addition to Federal Reserve Board member Kugler mentioning the possibility of holding interest rates steady, Fed Chairman Powell's view that there is no need for an immediate rate cut led to a widening of losses towards the end.

Observing the declining U.S. stock market, the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market Index continued to fall at the start. Although the index widened its decline in the morning, immediate buying led to a narrowing of losses. By mid-afternoon, it briefly entered positive territory but failed to attract buyers, and eventually fell back into the negative territory by the end of the session. While the Nikkei Stock Average and TOPIX remained in positive territory, growth stocks remained somewhat passive, focusing only on individual stocks that had completed their earnings reports.

In individual cases, Jinjibu <142A>, which announced downward revisions in full-year earnings forecasts as well as a review of its mid-term management plan, saw the largest decline at 26%, while Rice Curry <195A>, which revised down its operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending in March 2025, fell by 16%. Furthermore, Synka <149A>, which announced a downward revision in full-year earnings forecasts, fell by 15%. Among the major market capitalization stocks, Genda <9166> and Free <4478> remained weak, with Fisco <3807>, Amefutaiyo <5616>, and Bridge Consulting Group <9225> among the top decliners.

On the other hand, UUUM <3990>, revealed to be implementing a TOB by Freekout Holdings, was the top gainer, rising by 21%, while BBD Initiative <5259>, which announced an introduction of shareholder benefit system along with forecasting a record high profit for the period ending in September 2025, hit the daily limit of a 20% gain. Additionally, Light Up <6580>, which announced an increase in dividends due to a strong second quarter, rose by 20%. In terms of market capitalization top stocks, Trial <141A> and Cover <5253> showed a positive trend, with Renewable Japan <9522>, BUY SELL <7685>, and Aclit <4395> among the top gainers.

In the Tokyo Growth Market Core Index, Genda, Timey <215A>, Free, among others, experienced declines.
