Gelonghui, November 18 - Green energy gp (00979.HK) announced that on November 18, 2024, the company has sold all its equity in Zhaofut Limited (Zhaofut, a limited company registered in Hong Kong and holding a moneylender license under the Money Lenders Ordinance Chapter 163 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to a third party independent of the company and its related parties.
The board of directors believes that the sale is a good opportunity for the group to transfer its resources from the money lending business to other more profitable business divisions and/or new projects with higher growth potential. The board also believes that terminating the business will not have any significant adverse impact on the group's operations.
