Toyota Industries Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the company) has today signed a basic agreement with the "Chubu Hydrogen and Ammonia Society Implementation Promotion Conference" (hereinafter referred to as the promotion conference) towards the establishment of a hydrogen and ammonia supply chain in the Chubu region. This basic agreement aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and is signed between the promotion conference and companies aiming to establish a hydrogen and ammonia supply chain in the Chubu region, promoting greater mutual cooperation and initiatives.
The company is committed to the proliferation of hydrogen through the development, production, and sales of hydrogen-related products such as fuel cell energy forklifts and hydrogen circulation pumps, and is also progressing with studies on the utilization of hydrogen and ammonia in its production activities at factories. With the signing of this basic agreement as a trigger, the company will strengthen collaboration with participating companies in the basic agreement and the promotion conference to contribute to the realization of the social implementation of hydrogen and ammonia.

- The promotion conference and companies promoting the supply and demand of hydrogen and ammonia will seek mutual cooperation to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and build a supply chain.
