TCS Group Clinches RM611 Million Pan Borneo Highway Job

TCS Group Holdings Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, TCS Construction Sdn. Bhd has clinched a RM611.3 million contract from Sabah Works Department for the construction of new highway and road upgrading works for Pan Borneo Sabah Highway Phase 1B along a 18.2 kilometre ("km") stretch between Telupid and Kampung Lumou Baru to a dual carriageway highway including 4 new bridges ("Work Package 32").

Managing Director of TCS, Dato' Ir Tee Chai Seng said, "We are delighted to be involved in a major infrastructure project and to contribute towards the upgrading of infrastructure works in Sabah. We also sincerely appreciate the trust placed upon us by the Jabatan Kerja Raya Sabah. The Group is confident we will deliver a good job within the stipulated timeframe given our expertise and track record."

"This contract win has further boosted our order book and gives us healthy earnings visibility for the coming years. We continue to be upbeat on the construction industry as public and private sector projects rollout gain more traction. With the recent contract wins by the Group, we are looking to continue building on this healthy momentum to seize more jobs," Dato' Ir Tee further added.
