Daifuku Co., Ltd. Shiga Plant (Hino-cho, Shiga Prefecture) recently received the Reiwa 6th Minister of Health, Labor, and Welfare's commendation for vocational ability development, and our senior managing executive officer and general manager of the Shiga Plant, attended the award ceremony held at the Meiji Memorial Hall (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on November 20.
This award is a system for awarding businesses and organizations that have made significant contributions over the years and are examples for other companies and meritorious persons who have made remarkable achievements with regard to the implementation of certified vocational training, skill certification, and promotion of skills promotion. Among them, 19 offices, including our company, were selected as excellent establishments that had remarkable achievements related to skill certification.
As part of employees' self-development, efforts have been made to promote skill certification examinations, and prior in-house training has been held to improve skills when taking the test. Furthermore, it was evaluated that they recognized the importance of the skill certification system, actively cooperated in providing certification sites and dispatching certification committee members, and contributed to the promotion of skill certification projects.
The Daifuku Group will continue to secure and develop excellent technicians who will lead the future, and strive to maintain and improve the skills necessary for production.
