Greenway, November 21丨Cathay Pacific (00293.HK) announced that Cathay Pacific carried 2.0141 million passengers in October 2024, an increase of 19.6% over the same month of 2023. The number of passenger kilometers earned during the month increased by 19.1% year-on-year. The passenger load rate fell 1.6 percentage points to 83.1%, while the number of available seat kilometers increased by 21.3% year-on-year. In the first ten months of 2024, the number of passengers carried increased by 27.4% to 18.5678 million compared to the same period last year. The number of available seat kilometers increased by 32.7%, while the number of passenger kilometers earned increased by 26.8%.
Cathay Pacific carried 0.1423 million tonnes of cargo in October 2024, an increase of 14.3% over the same month last year. The tonnage of cargo revenue increased by 9.8% year-on-year during the month, and the carrying rate increased by 0.8 percentage points to 61.5%. Meanwhile, the number of usable cargo tonnes per kilometer increased by 8.4% year-on-year. In the first ten months of 2024, cargo volume increased by 10.4% compared to the same period last year to 1.2459 million metric tons, the number of usable cargo tonnes and kilometers increased by 8.8%, while the cargo revenue ton/km increased by 4.1%.
