Gelonghui Finance ·  Nov 22 15:42

Gelonghui, November 22 - China Master Logistics (603967.SH) announced that the original fundraising project "Purchase Project for Coastal Transportation and Distribution Dual-purpose Ships" had an initial planned investment amount of 252.9222 million yuan for the construction of 4 coastal transportation and distribution dual-purpose ships, including 2 ships with a deadweight tonnage of 10,000 tons and 2 ships with a deadweight tonnage of 8,000 tons. The project's completion period has been reviewed and extended to March 2026. As of October 31, 2024, the company has completed the construction of 2 coastal transportation and distribution dual-purpose ships with a deadweight tonnage of 8,000 tons, having cumulatively used 135.7334 million yuan of the raised funds, with 117.1888 million yuan of the raised funds still unused. Given the strong demand in the shipping market for the domestic shipbuilding industry leading to longer new ship delivery cycles, the company's coastal transportation business volume is increasing annually. There is an urgent need to enhance the capacity of owned ships. To improve the effectiveness of the raised funds, further optimize capacity layout, and fully leverage regional synergy, the company plans to modify the "Purchase Project for Coastal Transportation and Distribution Dual-purpose Ships" by changing the construction of 2 ships with a deadweight tonnage of 10,000 tons to the purchase of 3 second-hand coastal transportation and distribution dual-purpose ships (7,000-10,000 tons). The implementation entity will be changed from the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Qingdao Yuanda Junsheng Marine Co., Ltd. to its wholly-owned subsidiary Tianjin China Master Marine Co., Ltd. Tianjin China Master Marine Co., Ltd. will open a special account for the raised funds.
