Gelonghui, November 22丨Oriental Enterprise Control Group (00018.HK) announced that for the six months ended September 30, 2024, the Group's revenue was approximately HK$280,177,000, a year-on-year decrease of about 10%. Excluding the net fair value loss of approximately HK$10,355,000 of investment properties held by the Group, the unaudited consolidated profit attributable to the company owner was approximately HK$35,577,000.
During the reporting period, the unaudited consolidated profit attributable to company owners was approximately HK$25,098,000, a decrease of approximately HK$5,646,000, or about 18%, compared with the same period last year. The decrease in profit was mainly due to a decline in publishing and advertising revenue from the Group's media business.
