On the news side, YOF recently announced its intention to invest approximately 0.449 billion RMB to acquire El.En's subsidiary, Benteng Laser (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., as well as the controlling rights of Cutlite Penta S.r.l. After this transaction is completed, Benteng Laser and Cutlite will be consolidated.
GTJA pointed out that the counterpart EI.En is a globally leading laser technology company. Its subsidiaries Benteng Laser and Cutlite have high brand recognition, well-established sales channels, and stable customer resources both domestically and internationally. They are the main body for EI.En's industrial laser equipment business. The company established YOF in 2020, focusing on optical fiber lasers. The upstream layout is already comprehensive with the establishment of core rods (laser rods) and polarization-maintaining fibers and other fiber components within the system. This acquisition aims to expand the downstream application equipment for fiber lasers. By acquiring equipment capabilities and sales channels at home and abroad, it is expected to accelerate the expansion of the company's laser equipment market.
