According to the Zhitong Finance App, DYNAM JAPAN (06889) announced interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2024. The group achieved 63.753 billion yen, a year-on-year decrease of 0.97%; profit attributable to shareholders was 2.19 billion yen, an increase of 16.92% over the previous year; and basic profit per share was 3.1 yen.
According to the announcement, in terms of the performance of the Group's Japanese-style pachinko machine business for the six months ended September 30, 2024, despite the Group's strong usage rate of smart Japanese-style slot machines, progress has been made in switching some game arcades from Japanese-style pachinko machines to Japanese-style slots. Compared with the same period last year, the Group's revenue declined mainly due to its slow investment in smart Japanese pachinko machines in the Japanese pachinko machine market, and Japanese pachinko machines account for more than 60% of the total number of Japanese pachinko machines and Japanese slot machines installed in its game halls.
