CAYCE, S.C. (Nov. 25, 2024) – For a limited-time, qualifying Dominion Energy residential electric customers can receive a 100% payout—up to $3,200—for making eligible energy-saving upgrades to their homes through the Home Energy Check-up Plus program now through March 31, 2025.
The program provides upgrades to increase insulation and reduce air leaks throughout the home and is designed to help homeowners improve energy efficiency and lower energy costs.
"While we have long helped customers identify areas to improve the energy efficiency of their homes, the Home Energy Check-up Plus program takes it a step further," said Gerald Freeman, program manager. "Customers who have higher energy usage and meet additional qualifications can take advantage of this program and limited-time offer."
To participate in the Home Energy Check-up Plus program and limited-time offer:
- Successfully complete a free Home Energy Check-up.
- Receive a no-cost, no-obligation consultation to review eligible energy efficiency improvements.
- Approve the recommended upgrades by signing a participation agreement.
The 100% payout is limited to qualified customers who complete all work by March 31, 2025. Costs will be paid by Dominion Energy directly to the program's approved contractor.
Additionally, to qualify for the limited-time offer, customers must:
- Be Dominion Energy South Carolina residential electric customers.
- Have electric heat and meet minimum energy usage requirement of 10.45 kilowatt-hours per square foot annually.
- Be the owner of a single-family home, mobile home, condominium or townhome.
