Gelonghui, on November 26, announced that Innovative Medical (002173.SZ) stated on the interactive platform that its affiliated company, BOLING Brain-Computer Interface (Hangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., was established in 2021 and co-funded by the company and a research team from Zhejiang University. BOLING Brain-Computer Interface is a technology-based enterprise focused on brain-computer interface technology and high-end medical instruments. It is a project unit in Zhejiang Province's Science and Technology Department's "Vanguard" and "Leading Goose" R&D project initiative, a science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise, and an innovative small and medium-sized enterprise. BOLING Brain-Computer Interface focuses on the application development and result transformation of brain-computer interface technology, with current technical products primarily applied in the medical rehabilitation field. According to relevant data published in the 'China Health and Health Statistics Yearbook' by the National Health Commission, the incidence of cerebrovascular diseases (primarily cerebral infarction and intracranial hemorrhage, commonly known as "stroke") in China has remained at a high range in recent years, with about 4.5 million annual discharges, a considerable proportion of which suffer from disabilities (hemiplegia, speech disorders, etc.), placing a heavy burden on individuals, families, and society. Therefore, BOLING Brain-Computer Interface has developed a series of products using brain-computer interface technology, allowing stroke hemiplegic patients to feel "perceptible" (to experience the advancement of brain-computer interface technology and enhance rehabilitation confidence), "usable" (with a relatively simple usage method and improved effects), and "affordable" (products with relatively low prices and flexible payment methods). Currently, BOLING Brain-Computer Interface's main products include: ① the first domestic upper limb exoskeleton rehabilitation system aimed at healthcare institutions; ② an upper limb motion function assistance and enhancement system primarily for hemiplegic patients for use at home after discharge; ③ a hand rehabilitation training system; ④ a neural signal acquisition device, etc. The upper limb exoskeleton rehabilitation system and the upper limb motion function assistance and enhancement system entered the engineering prototype stage by the end of 2023; in 2024, through continuous optimization and improvement, the upper limb motion function assistance and enhancement system for home use by hemiplegic patients has begun to enter the production prototype stage.
