On November 27, Gelonghui reported that china dongxiang (03818.HK) announced that for the six months ended September 30, 2024, the company's revenue was RMB 0.749 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5%; gross profit was RMB 0.516 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%; profit attributable to company owners was RMB 0.162 billion, compared to a loss of RMB 0.41 billion in the same period last year; basic earnings per share were RMB 2.34, with an interim dividend and special interim dividend of RMB 1.40 per share.

During the reporting period, the group continued to deepen the "brand + product" and "brand + self-operated" business models. On one hand, it further enhanced brand value by integrating the culture advocated by the brand into the continuously upgraded refined products, establishing a solid brand influence. On the other hand, it continuously optimized and improved the new operational management model, further optimized the distribution of its self-operated network, enhanced store efficiency, and optimized e-commerce operations to better adapt to and meet consumer purchasing needs. Meanwhile, the group also continued to adjust and optimize its self-operated stores, bringing the total number of Kappa brand terminals to 1,001.

During the reporting period, the sales revenue of Kappa brand non-self-operated channels was RMB 0.253 billion, a decrease of RMB 35 million compared to the non-self-operated business sales of RMB 0.288 billion in the comparative period. The non-self-operated business accounted for 35.9% of the group's Kappa business sales (comparative period: 39.0%). As of September 30, 2024, the number of self-operated stores managed by Kappa brand through its self-operated retail subsidiaries has reached 557.

The sales revenue of self-operated channel business reached RMB 0.452 billion during the reporting period, an increase of RMB 1 million compared to the self-operated channel business sales of RMB 0.451 billion in the comparative period. The self-operated business accounted for 64.1% of the group's Kappa business sales (comparative period: 61.0%).
