Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad announced its third quarter results for the financial year achieving a 29.5% growth in profit after tax and minority interests ("PATAMI"), year on year, to RM46.1 million. The group said the revenue surged by 39.4% to RM504.8 million, up from RM362.2 million primarily driven by the construction segment, which recorded a 41.6% revenue growth to RM487.3 million due to improved progress across ongoing construction projects.
For the cumulative nine months ended 30 September 2024 ("9MFYE2024"), PATAMI climbed 20.9% to RM116.7 million while revenue grew by 28.0% from RM968.7 million to RM1.24 billion. The construction segment remained the key revenue driver, contributing RM1.2 billion to the Group's total revenue. In addition, the property development segment's revenue soared by 149.2% from RM17.7 million to RM44.1 million, driven by contributions from its ongoing developments, The Vue @ Monterez and Papyrus @ North Kiara.
As at 30 September 2024, Kerjaya maintained a healthy balance sheet with a strong net cash position of RM260.2 million. Total outstanding order book is RM4.4 billion with year-to-date new contract wins at RM1.6 billion.
The Group has declared a third interim dividend of 3.0 sen per ordinary share and a single-tier special dividend of 4.0 sen, amounting to RM88.3 million in total, payable on 20 December 2024. To date, the Group has declared total dividend of 12.0 sen per ordinary share, amounting to RM151.3 million for the financial year ending 31 December 2024. Based on the share price of RM2.15, the trailing 12 months dividend per share translates to an attractive yield of approximately 5.6%.
