According to Zhito Finance APP, Emperor Int'l (00163) announced its interim results for the six months ending September 30, 2024, the group achieved total revenue of 0.459 billion HKD, an increase of 4.77% year-on-year; the loss attributable to owners of the company was 1.042 billion HKD, an increase of 35.51% year-on-year; basic loss per share was 0.28 HKD cents.
The gross profit from continuing operations was 0.3351 billion HKD (2023: 0.359 billion HKD). Due to fair value losses on investment properties, the group incurred a loss attributable to owners of the company from continuing operations of 1.0423 billion HKD (2023: 0.7692 billion HKD). Together with the losses from discontinued operations, the group recorded a loss attributable to owners of the company of 3.4646 billion HKD (2023: 0.7601 billion HKD).
