Japanese ADR (American Depositary Securities) shares fell in comparison with the Tokyo Stock Exchange (converted to 1 dollar 151.07 yen), Japan Post Bank ＜6178 ＞, SoftBank G ＜9984＞, Renesas ＜6723＞, Nidec ＜6594＞, Advantest ＜6857＞, Mitsubishi Corp. ＜8058＞, etc. fell, and overall sales dominance. The Chicago Nikkei 225 futures settlement value is 37,810 yen, 290 yen lower than the Osaka daytime ratio.

The US stock market fell. The Dow average closed at 44,722.06 dollars, down 138.25 dollars, and the NASDAQ fell 115.10 points at 19,060.48. From near the record high, it softly followed a sense of caution against high prices, etc. The Dow liked the good financial results of some retail companies and temporarily rose, but sales that were wary of the impact on the economy and corporate performance due to additional tariff measures planned by President-elect Trump turned into a smoldering decline. There was also a view that expectations for artificial intelligence (AI) had gone too far on the NASDAQ, and the decline in high technology became heavy and remained soft throughout the day, and it ended.

The dollar and yen rose to 151 yen 82 yen in the New York foreign exchange market on the 27th, then fell to 150 yen 46 yen, and closed at 151 yen 15 yen. In addition to the US GDP revisions for the fiscal year ending 7/9 slowing down from the previous fiscal year, private consumption revisions and core PCE price index revisions for the same period were unexpectedly revised downward, and dollar sales accelerated as long-term US interest rates declined. The US October Core PCE Price Index accelerated from the previous month, and once the dollar stopped falling, it became new evidence of progress and stagnation of disinflation, but dollar sales resumed when interest rates fell further in response to movements incorporating additional interest rate cuts in December and strong results of 7-year bond bidding in the view that it was not a result of correcting the trajectory of additional interest rate cuts. Risk-avoiding yen purchases, which were wary of additional tariffs due to the next Trump administration, also continued. The euro dollar rose from 1.0526 dollars to 1.0588 dollars and closed at 1.0565 dollars. Euro sales declined in response to European Central Bank (ECB) Director Schnabel's remarks, and additional interest rate cuts were observed.
