Kingsoft Cloud released its ninth generation cloud server.
On November 27, Kingsoft Cloud (KC.US) showcased two ninth generation cloud server products at the Intel New Productivity Technology Ecosystem Conference. This news boosted the stock market, closing up 17%.
The latest performance enhancement model X9 is officially open for invitation testing. This product is equipped with Intel Xeon 6 performance cores, significantly increasing computing power. In terms of general capabilities, the maximum all-core turbo frequency can reach 3.8GHz, single socket performance achieves 2.5 times that of the previous generation, and the whole machine is equipped with 12 memory channels with memory frequency up to 6400MT/s; regarding key features, it supports AMX training inference acceleration and adds FP16 support, greatly enhancing floating-point computation performance.
At the same time, the company revealed that it will continue to work with ecological partners to create a more efficient cloud computing service platform.
Previously, Kingsoft Cloud announced third-quarter performance, where the adjusted EBITDA rate continued to improve steadily on the basis of positive results from the first two quarters and increased by 12.6 percentage points year-on-year. Everbright stated that Kingsoft Cloud, as the only strategic cloud platform within the Xiaomi & Kingsoft ecosystem, can expect revenue elasticity from the ecosystem and profitability is expected to continue to improve, with the company's adjusted operating profit margin likely turning positive by 2025.
