Ling Yui Holdings (00784.HK) announced on November 28th that the group's income increased by approximately 8.8% to around 120.6 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ended September 30, 2024. The increase is mainly due to the additional 5 million Hong Kong dollars from the Wenhui Road 9-11 project, as well as an additional claim of about 5 million Hong Kong dollars from the previously completed Gan Nuo Road No. 152-155 project.
The group recorded a net profit of approximately 1.5 million Hong Kong dollars, compared to a net loss of about 1.6 million Hong Kong dollars in the same period of 2023. The directors believe that the increase in net profit is due to the combined effect of increased revenue and cost control of administrative expenses.
