Chairman & CEO of I3 Verticals Picks Up 39% More Stock

Simply Wall St ·  Nov 28 20:24

i3 Verticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IIIV) shareholders (or potential shareholders) will be happy to see that the Chairman & CEO, Gregory Daily, recently bought a whopping US$2.1m worth of stock, at a price of US$23.76. Aside from being a solid chunk in its own right, the deft move also saw their holding increase by some 39%.

i3 Verticals Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by Gregory Daily is the biggest insider purchase of i3 Verticals shares that we've seen in the last year. That implies that an insider found the current price of US$24.86 per share to be enticing. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. Happily, the i3 Verticals insider decided to buy shares at close to current prices. The only individual insider to buy over the last year was Gregory Daily.
