On November 29, 2023, Sichuan Chuantou Energy (600674.SH) announced that it received a notice from its controlling shareholder, Sichuan Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuantou Group"), on November 29, 2024, informing that the Sichuan Provincial People's Government intends to initiate a strategic restructuring matter between Chuantou Group and Sichuan Provincial Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd.
The aforementioned matter does not currently involve any significant asset restructuring for the company and will not have a significant impact on the company's normal operation activities. As of now, there has been no change in the company's controlling shareholder. The aforementioned matter requires approval from relevant government departments and is still in the preliminary planning stage, so there is uncertainty regarding whether approval will be granted.
