According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Siasun Robot&Automation (02498) released unaudited financial performance for the 9 months ended on September 30, 2024, with revenue reaching 1.135 billion yuan (same unit), a 91.51% year-on-year increase; the company's net loss attributable to owners narrowed by 0.351 billion yuan, a 69.03% decrease compared to the same period.
For the 9 months ended on September 30, 2024, the sales volume of the group's Lidar products for ADAS applications and for robots and other purposes were approximately 0.3819 million units, 0.3658 million units, and 0.0161 million units, representing increases of approximately 259.6%, 292.9%, and 22.9% respectively compared to the 9 months ended on September 30, 2023.
According to the Global Auto Research Institute's rankings for January to September 2024, RoboSense became the leading supplier of Lidar sensors by installation volume. Our market share exceeded 35.0%, demonstrating our leading position in the Lidar industry.
As of the date of this announcement, our MX products in the L2+ field have successfully secured cooperation agreements with 7 complete vehicle manufacturers, including a leading domestic independent auto brand, one of the top three auto manufacturers in Japan, a leading Sino-Japanese joint venture, a joint venture with one of the top three global auto companies in China, and multiple new vehicle models from a leading Sino-Japanese joint venture client.
In the advanced autonomous driving field, we have secured partnerships with a globally leading international vehicle manufacturer and a model cooperation with a Sino-foreign joint venture brand. In the L4 autonomous driving level, we have also made great progress and obtained SOP cooperation from major L4+ autonomous driving companies such as a globally largest mobility platform and Xiaoma Zhixing.
We have successfully secured cooperation agreements with 4 overseas complete vehicle manufacturers. In addition to our first vehicle standard SOP delivery customer in North America, a new energy auto company in 2021, and our customer from one of the top global vehicle manufacturers in Japan in the first half of 2024, we added two new complete vehicle manufacturer customers in the third quarter of 2024. This includes one of the top three vehicle manufacturers in Japan and the aforementioned international mainframe manufacturer project.
As of September 30, 2024, we have secured mass production orders for 84 vehicle models from 26 global auto manufacturers and first-tier suppliers, and have achieved SOP for 31 vehicle models of 12 of the aforementioned auto manufacturers and first-tier suppliers, including multiple models from various sub-brands under BYD in the new SOP vehicle models of the third quarter of 2024.
