The always vengeful Musk is about to "ascend to the shadow presidency", and his "enemies" are actively seeking allies for self-preservation, after all, no one knows what he is planning to do.
The 'shadow president' Musk is about to 'ascend to the throne', and his enemies are not feeling too good.
Recently, OpenAI CEO Altman, Meta CEO Zuckerberg, microsoft CEO Bill Gates, and amazon CEO Bezos have been feeling very worried... These business giants are all seeking allies to face the upcoming Trump administration, perhaps along with Musk's 'personal revenge'.
Musk has stated that he looks forward to his new role in the Trump administration creating more enemies for him:
'Indeed, this will be a tedious job, not only will it create many enemies, but the reward is zero. What a great trade!'

'Sometimes I feel like my list of enemies is too short.'
During the campaign, Trump promised that he would use federal power to 'retaliate' against political enemies—Musk has also shown a similar revenge mentality throughout his long business career, as he pursues those he considers enemies through the courts and his 0.2 billion followers on X.
Musk once wrote on Twitter:
"Sometimes I feel that my list of enemies is too short."
Later, Musk added:
"There is a big graveyard where my enemies are buried, I don’t want to add anyone anymore, but if there’s no choice, I will add them."

Previously, Bill Gates entered Musk's list of enemies for shorting tesla stocks. In anger, Musk combined a photo of Bill Gates with a pregnant emoji on X and captioned: "If you want to lose interest quickly, look at this."

Bill Gates stated in an interview:
When he found out I shorted his stocks, he became particularly mean to me, but he is mean to many people, so you can't take it too seriously.
After acquiring twitter (which was later renamed x) in 2022, musk targeted advertisers who pulled funding from x. He told advertisers, "Fuck you, got it?" Then, musk blasted disney's CEO Bob Iger for pausing advertising spending on x: "Stop advertising!"
Subsequently, musk sued a group of advertisers, accusing them of illegal advertising boycott, stating on x: "We tried peace for two years, now it's war."

Last year, musk expressed a desire to have a boxing match with zuckerberg in response to zuckerberg launching a competitor to x - threads.
The mutual attacks between the two lasted for several months, but the plans for the match gradually faded after musk indicated that he might need surgery. In May of this year, musk revived the idea of the match as he was fully engaged in trump's campaigning. Musk wrote on x:
"I am willing to fight zuckerberg anywhere, anytime, under any rules, but I haven't heard any response."

Bezos has been Musk's long-time rival, and their feud has lasted for 20 years— they have repeatedly vied for the top spot on Forbes' billionaire list, competed for government contracts, and battled for dominance in the space exploration sector, causing quite an unpleasant situation.
On the evening of November 21, Musk posted on X accompanied by a smirking emoji to mock Bezos:
Tonight at Mar-a-Lago, I learned that Jeff Bezos told everyone that Trump is sure to lose, so they should sell all their stocks in Tesla and SpaceX.

Not so optimistic about business competition.
As Trump's guest of honor and America's 'shadow president', Musk's close relationship with Trump has raised concerns among many—competition in business may become more favorable to Musk.
Democratic Congressman Adam Smith from Washington State expressed in an interview that Musk's growing power may suppress competition:
"Overall, I feel uneasy about this situation, seeing Trump's decision-making style... obviously, Musk now has influence."
Currently, Musk's aerospace company SpaceX is working to obtain approval from NASA and the Space Force to conduct a large number of Starship rocket launches at Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center. This has raised concerns among competitors, including boeing, who fear that if SpaceX is successful, they might lose access to these launch sites.
The same goes for the autos industry.
Musk stated that he supports the elimination of the $7,500 electric vehicle purchase tax credit, and although this would harm tesla, he believes it would harm its competitors even more.
Other policies of Trump, such as proposed tariffs on Mexico, may also negatively impact tesla's competitors, as many of them produce autos in Mexico and then export them to the usa.
As for Meta and Google, they are currently worried that Musk might push for stricter regulations against them, such as increasing antitrust scrutiny.
However, the most concerned right now may still be OpenAI.
Last Friday, lawyer Marc Toberoff, representing Musk, submitted a preliminary injunction to a federal court, seeking to prevent OpenAI from transforming into a fully profitable entity and to stop OpenAI from requiring investors to refrain from funding its competitors, including Musk's AI startup xAI and other companies. Toberoff stated that OpenAI's actions constituted a "group boycott," blocking xAI from obtaining critical investment capital.
Analysis suggests that this document signifies an escalation in the legal dispute between Musk and Altman...
Business giants making efforts to salvage the situation.
More tragic than offending Musk is that some of Musk's competitors have unfortunately clashed with Trump.
Zuckerberg's company Facebook had previously disabled Trump's account, and Trump once called Zuckerberg "Zuckerschmuck" (implying that Zuckerberg is a fool) and referred to Facebook as "the enemy of the people."
The Washington Post, owned by Bezos, frequently writes articles criticizing Trump, which caused Trump to explode in anger, calling Bezos "Jeff Bozo" (implying that Bezos is a fool) and labeling Amazon as a monopoly...
With Trump's victory, these business giants have been rushing to find lobbying firms associated with Trump’s cabinet, hoping to repair their relationship with Trump and Musk through this channel.
Some individuals have taken the approach of publicly showing goodwill.
Billionaire Mark Cuban, who was previously a spokesperson for Harris and had several disputes with Musk during the campaign, congratulated Trump and Musk on X after Trump’s victory, stating:
"You won a fair victory."
Ultraman is also carefully avoiding conflicts with Trump. On the morning after Trump's victory, Ultraman posted congratulations on X, breaking from his usual lowercase style to show respect for Trump. Ultraman wrote:
"Congratulations President Trump, I wish him great success in this job."
