George Kent Secures First Contract In Sarawak, Water Project Worth RM26.7 Million

George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad announced that the company has secured a contract valued at RM26.7 million for the Sarawak Water Supply Grid Program's Stressed Area Project marking its first project win in the state.

The scope of work for this project includes the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. This vital infrastructure project aims to provide reliable and sustainable access to clean water for communities in Sarawak's stressed areas, supporting regional development and improving the quality of life for residents.

George Kent will be partnering Techkem Utilities which has been appointed as the Main Sub-Contractor by EPR (Kuching), the main contractor for this project under JBLAB Sarawak.

Work on this project has commenced, with completion scheduled for 30 June 2026.
