According to a Goldman Sachs report, if US President-elect Donald Trump imposes 25% tariffs on all products in the country, the price of Western Canada's Selected Crude Oil (WCS) could fall below $40 per barrel by 2026. According to General Index, Western Canada's Selected Crude Oil (WCS) was above $55 per barrel on Monday. Analysts, including Yulia Grigsby, wrote in the report that Goldman Sachs expects a 10% general tariff on oil, which will have a negative impact on US crude oil and gasoline prices due to falling demand.
