The line is approximately 7.4km long, with 5 stations and one interval wind well. The amount of the bid project for the Hangzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 12 Phase I Signal System and Platform Gate System is 0.401 billion RMB. It is an extension project split from the operational Line 6 Shuangpu Branch, extending south and north respectively. The new construction line is approximately 26.1km long, entirely underground, with 15 stations, including 7 transfer stations.
