荷兰国际:如果不采取行动 法国经济增长将继续放缓

Dutch International: If no action is taken, France's economic growth will continue to slow down.

Global Market Report ·  Dec 3 07:32

Economists from ing groep, Charlotte de Montpellier and Chris Turner, wrote in a report that the collapse of the French government is bad news for the eurozone's second-largest economy.

The minority government led by Barnier will face a vote of confidence in the French National Assembly this week, after the government passed part of the budget by force without a vote from the legislature, which seems likely to fail.

Economists indicated that the downfall of the French government will force President Emmanuel Macron to make renewed efforts to find a prime minister capable of leading the government, thereby prolonging the political deadlock.

They stated that without action to correct France's faltering fiscal situation, economic growth will continue to slow.

Economists from ing groep said, "The political situation will delay the recovery of public finances and may complicate it."
