Gelonghui, December 4th丨Juguang Technology (688167.SH) announced that the company recently received formal selection letters for two projects from AG Company for passive optical components used in lidar. The company was selected to become the supplier of passive optical components for AG Company's lidar system, which will provide it with Juguang Technology's self-developed and designed passive optical components.
The two selection letters specifically confirmed that AG Company chose Juguang Technology for the bulk supply of the passive optical component products required for its lidar projects, setting the supply prices at different scales, the forecasted supply quantities for each year, and the amount and payment methods related to project investments.
The end customers of these two selections are the same as the end customers of the two previously disclosed line spot emitting module projects for lidar, both being internationally renowned automotive companies, with mass production scheduled for 2026 and 2027 respectively. According to customer forecasts, the combined expected demand for the lifecycle of the two selected projects is over 0.6 million sets. The passive optical component products from these two selections and the previously disclosed lidar line spot emitting modules will be used in AG Company's complete lidar systems.
