On December 4th, Guolin Stock Exchange reported that guilin layn natural ingredients corp. (002166.SZ) announced that it received a notification from Mr. Qin Benjun, who informed that he has received the "Administrative Penalty Decision" issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. This is due to violations of the provisions of Article 55, paragraph 1, items 1 and 3 of the Securities Law, which constitutes market manipulation as described in Article 192 of the Securities Law. Mr. Qin has had illegal gains of 690,924.51 yuan confiscated and imposed a fine of 2,072,773.53 yuan. Additionally, according to Article 221 of the Securities Law and Article 3, items 1, 5, and 6, along with Article 4, paragraph 1, items 1, 5, and paragraph 1, item 7 of the Provisions on the Bans of Securities Market (CSRC Order No. 185), Mr. Qin has been subjected to a 5-year ban from the securities market. From the date of the CSRC's announcement, during the ban, he is prohibited from continuing to engage in securities business or securities service business at the original institution or serving as a director, supervisor, or senior management of the original securities issuer, and cannot engage in securities business, securities service, or serve as a director, supervisor, or senior management of any other securities issuer at any other institutions.
