On the news front, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed on social media on December 4th local time that there will be a live broadcast every working day for the next 12 days. Over the total of 12 live broadcasts, the company will showcase some new products or samples. According to the tech media The Verge, new products include the long-awaited text-to-video tool Sora and a new reasoning model.
Amazon announced at the annual AWS conference the launch of a series of advanced AI models called Amazon Nova. The Amazon Nova series includes text-to-text and multimodal models, including Amazon Nova Lite, Pro, and Premier, capable of handling text, image, and video inputs. Lite and Pro are already available, while Premier is expected to be released in the first quarter of next year. Amazon pointed out that their new models are at least 75% cheaper than competitors, making them the fastest and most cost-effective choice within Amazon Bedrock.

The financial report for the third quarter of 2024 shows a year-on-year revenue growth of 54.6%, and the net profit attributable to equity shareholders increased by 161.62% year-on-year. The company's core product, Mintegral, is an AI-driven programmatic interactive mobile advertising platform.
In addition, fund managers point out that AI applications have already been implemented in multiple scenarios, with many traditional workflows incorporating AI functionality. For example, Zhu Chenzhe mentioned that from the B-end perspective, AI has been the first to land in scenarios such as advertising, e-commerce, and financial taxation, enhancing the performance of relevant companies. From the C-end perspective, the traffic of head applications continues to grow under a high base, with products such as ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, Dou Bao, and Kimi experiencing over 15% growth in October visits compared to June.
HuaShang Fund's Ai Dingfei also emphasized that the future continuous development of the AI industry may rely on the outbreak of AI applications and AI terminals, which will drive companies at all levels of the industry chain to find suitable business models and achieve profitability through a complete business cycle. Currently, the fundamentals of this sector are relatively stable, and valuations are also relatively reasonable.
