Mainland energy drink manufacturer Dongpeng Beverage (605499.SH) is considering an IPO in Hong Kong and is seeking financial advisors for this matter, with the earliest possible listing expected next year to raise up to 1 billion dollars (approximately 7.8 billion hong kong dollars).
According to Zhito Finance APP, it is reported that mainland energy drink manufacturer Dongpeng Beverage (605499.SH) is considering an IPO in Hong Kong and is seeking financial advisors for this matter, with the earliest possible listing expected next year to raise up to 1 billion dollars (approximately 7.8 billion hong kong dollars). Informants have also revealed that the relevant plan for the IPO in Hong Kong is still under review, and details such as the scale may still change.
Dongpeng Beverage's A-share market cap is approximately 15.8 billion dollars. The company was established in 1994 and mainly sells energy drinks, electrolyte drinks, Chinese sugar-free tea, coffee, and coconut juice, among others. In the first nine months of this year, the revenue reached 12.558 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 45.34%; profit was 2.707 billion yuan, up 63.53%.
Additionally, Dongpeng Beverage planned an IPO in swiss franc about two years ago; however, the company later announced that due to changes in various objective factors such as internal and external environments, it decided to terminate the overseas issuance of global depositary receipts (GDR).
