On December 6, Professor Hong Bo from Tsinghua University's School of Biomedical Engineering revealed at the International Brain-Computer Interface Conference 2024 held in shanghai that China's independently developed NEO brain-computer interface devices will be used in about 10 centers across the country next year, in 30-50 cases of brain-computer interface implantation surgeries.
Elon Musk's brain-computer interface company Neuralink announced that it has received approval from Canada's health department to start its first clinical trial in the country, and has begun recruiting participants publicly.
