Hello everyone, good evening. Finally, a market that seems to excite personal investors has arrived. Yes, it is the year-end 'IPO festival.' Until now, 2024 has been lacking excitement in the growth market. Even ipos have been neglected, but December's market seems to hold promise. 'If you want to earn money for your expenses, now is the time! Reporting on three noteworthy stocks in the blog!' This is Sanasae.
This article series is penned by a 40-something female investor who was the runner-up in the 'Stock 1 GP Grand Champion Tournament held by Yukan Fuji (21st year).' It has now entered its second year... this is the 97th installment. Together with the headline column, I will introduce some recently noteworthy stocks.
Essentially, December is a time when the number of ipos tends to be higher than in other months. I am looking forward to seeing ipos rise like fireworks through ultra-short-term funds from individual investors... commonly referred to as the 'IPO festival.' Recently, in October, there was also a large ipo from 'Tokyo Metro' or Tokyo Subway <9023>, which generated a lot of attention. Along with that, the stocks of Alt <260A>, which is gaining attention for 'personal AI,' and Schoo <264A>, related to risk management, continue to remain popular as trending themes, so I plan to keep an eye on them into the New Year.
And on December 18, the long-anticipated semiconductor-related ipo of Kioxia HD <285A>, formerly known as 'Toshiba Memory,' is also approaching. With nvidia's good earnings and the semiconductor market being projected to remain strong in 2025, domestic and overseas investors are likely to pay close attention to its initial listing price.
However, since overseas investors will gradually start their vacations as the year-end approaches, there is plenty of potential for individual investors' funds to be active in the growth market. Therefore, this time I will introduce five notable stocks from December's ipos, along with a few other stocks to keep an eye on.
First, there is Riskill <291A> (listed on the 17th), which is also attracting attention as a risiking-related company. They are engaged in re-education and human resource development for working professionals. With the advancement of AI and digital transformation, the demand for IT personnel handling these areas is also increasing, so expectations are likely to rise. Next is Synspective <290A> (listed on the 19th), which operates in the space-related business that has drawn renewed attention this year. There are expectations for material announcements after the listing. Also, the semiconductor-related TMH <280A>, which lists on the same day, is one of the ipos worth watching from the initial price. Additionally, Alpico HD <297A> (listed on the 25th), which is involved in tourism and the supermarket and retail trade in the Nagano region, and Kuroda Group <287A>, which deals with sales of liquid crystal, semiconductor materials, and electronic components for the automobile industry, are stocks I think I will wait to buy on dips.
Lastly, as a bonus... Recently drawing attention is GNI <2160>, whose stock price is rising following the reverse merger with its consolidated subsidiary. Aitime <3662> saw a sudden increase in candlestick charm with the establishment of new shareholder benefits, and due to the trend of individual value stock buying, Woodone <7898>, a leading manufacturer of wooden building materials, appears extremely undervalued when viewed through the lens of pb, so it is likely to attract various speculations in the future.
Yes, I would like to introduce more, but that's all for now.
In my recent blog, in addition to the stocks introduced above, I pick up the 'Top 3 Stocks to Watch' every month as 'Sanae's Solo Stock 1GP' and measure their price range every weekend. Of course, there are various topics other than stocks... Please feel free to enjoy it even if you are curious or scared (lol). Well then, have a nice trade.
