As the first project under this partnership, a servitization contract will be signed with Gold Pack to provide the "Capacity as a Service model (hereinafter, CaaS model)" for beverage filling machines, introducing new services to the beverage industry.
Based on the servitization contract, Tetra Pak and Furong Lease will guarantee the production capacity of beverage filling machines desired by Gold Pack and provide associated services over the next ten years through the CaaS model.
Gold Pack will renew the production capacity equivalent to three existing filling machines with one high-speed filling machine, achieving labor-saving and efficiency improvements in the factory through the introduction of a new service model.
The CaaS model provides not only the introduction of the latest equipment but also comprehensive services that include maintenance, repairs, etc., and operates on a pay-as-you-go service model based on production volume.
By providing the CaaS model, a long-term cooperative relationship aimed at optimizing the total ownership cost at Gold Pack will be established.
According to Furong Comprehensive Lease, the introduction of beverage filling machines under the CaaS model will be the first initiative even among the over 160 countries where the Tetra Laval group, to which Tetra Pak belongs, is deployed.
