On December 9, Gelonghui reported that Shanghai Chengtou Holding (600649.SH) announced, in response to the national housing policy of both rental and sales, to assist Shanghai's talent housing project in engineering & construction, while expanding the company's house rental operation scale and enhancing the brand influence of "Chengtou Kuanting." The wholly-owned subsidiary, the house rental company, plans to jointly establish a limited partnership (referred to as "Partnership") with the Shanghai State-owned Existing Asset Activation Private Investment Fund Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership) (referred to as "National Existing Asset Activation Fund"). The Partnership will be the main entity using its own and raised funds to participate in the bidding at the Shanghai United Assets Exchange to acquire 100% equity of the target company and the shareholder loan creditor's rights held by the target company's shareholder, Huaxin Real Estate, thus investing in the rental housing property project of the land parcel 244-19 in the Tianlin sector of Xuhui District (referred to as "Caobao Road Project"). The investment amount of the Partnership will not exceed 0.8 billion yuan, with the house rental company contributing no more than 0.64 billion yuan as a limited partner, and the National Existing Asset Activation Fund contributing no more than 0.16 billion yuan as a limited partner. The general partner and executive managing partner of the Partnership will be Shanghai Shengshi Puhua Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shengshi Puhua"), contributing no more than 0.01 million yuan.
