In the 2024 version of the frontal 100% overlapping rigid barrier crash test, the collision speed increased from 50 km/h to 56 km/h, which raised the collision energy by 25.4% and significantly increased the difficulty of the assessment. However, after the test, key areas of the Ideal L6's occupant compartment, such as the A-pillar, door sill, and B-pillar, showed almost no deformation. The Ideal L6 performed excellently in terms of injury to front row occupant dummies, rear row female dummies, and child dummies. Additionally, the new regulations require side barrier crash tests and side pole crash tests for all vehicle models, with significant improvements in the speed and mass of the side barrier crash tests, increasing the collision energy by 74.9% and adding requirements for rear child dummies in side pole collisions. The Ideal L6 achieved high scores in both side crash evaluations, reflecting Ideal Auto's commitment to providing comprehensive safety protection for every family member.

The self-developed fortress safety body is the first line of defense for safety. The Ideal L6 adopts a double aluminum alloy anti-collision beam design, which can effectively dissipate the frontal impact force during a collision. The overall torsional stiffness reaches 35,609 Nm/deg, with high-strength steel accounting for 82.7%, of which hot-formed steel accounts for 33.4%. Key parts of the vehicle body, such as the A-pillar, B-pillar, door sill, longitudinal beam, roof crossbeam, and door anti-collision bars, all use hot-formed steel to form a complete cage structure, ensuring minimal deformation during collisions. When a collision occurs, the Ideal L6 can efficiently disperse impact, achieving "zero intrusion" into the passenger compartment.

At the same time, Ideal Auto adheres to equal rights in safety technology, protecting the safety of every family member in every position. The vehicle is equipped with 9 airbags as standard, forming a 360° protection network. The standard dual-chamber far-end airbags can effectively reduce primary and co-driver injuries in side collision and rollover scenarios. The standard second-row side airbags can minimize the impact of side collisions on elderly passengers and children in the rear seats. The first row has dual pre-tensioners, and the second row has dual-load limiting seatbelts, which will retract simultaneously to secure occupants firmly in their seats during a collision, minimizing accidental injuries.

big

The Ideal L6's safety design not only focuses on collision prevention but also pays special attention to post-collision handling and rescue. Ideal Auto's post-collision rescue feature has as many as 40 requirements, exceeding the standards commonly used in Europe, America, and domestically by more than double. Among them, Ideal Auto has established its own call response center, which automatically triggers the emergency call E-CALL feature within 25 seconds after a collision. In addition to providing vehicle location and basic information, it can also provide specific collision scenarios and passenger information, helping rescuers respond quickly. After a collision, the vehicle can reduce high voltage to safe levels within 1 second and ensure warning lights and door unlocking to prevent secondary accidents and facilitate rescue, allowing the doors to unlock immediately after a collision, and the door handles can pop out smoothly, maintaining zero incidents of door unlocking abnormalities in all collision accidents.

The ideal L6 is equipped with dual-chamber rear airbags and advanced pre-tensioning limited-force seat belts, achieving excellent results under the new testing system. In virtual evaluations of eight scenarios for rear occupants, it received full marks, proving the L6's protective effects for rear passengers in various complex side-impact collision scenarios. Simultaneously, the front-off passenger protection effect also received an excellent rating. Under this globally launched virtual evaluation system, the ideal L6 achieved outstanding performance, reflecting the advanced safety technology of ideal automobiles and the safety concept of equal protection for passengers.

Comprehensive sensing, guarding every step.

The ideal L6 performed excellently in protecting vulnerable road traffic participants with a score of 85.50%. Its double anti-collision beam design effectively protects pedestrians' lower limbs, preventing deformation of the knees and calves, and preventing them from being pulled under the vehicle. The 2024 version of C-NCAP's AEB pedestrian assessment enriches intersection scenarios and includes child targets, making the scenes more comprehensive and relatable to daily life, with the ideal L6 achieving full marks in all sectors of AEB pedestrian.

big

Relying on a rich configuration of sensors, advanced perception and decision-making models, and efficient system responses, the ideal L6 can provide ample protection for pedestrians even in complex intersection conditions. Additionally, the ideal L6 can achieve comprehensive AEB during parking, identifying stationary and crossing pedestrians, cyclists, and other targets ahead and behind, timely discovering and identifying potential collision risks, thereby reducing the incidence of scrape and collision accidents. For scenarios where the driver mistakenly steps on the gas during starting or moving, the ideal L6 is equipped with a forward and rearward Mis-Acceleration Intervention (MAI) system, which effectively limits power output and can stop before a collision, ensuring the safety of both the vehicle and surrounding targets.
