Agreement sets groundwork to build state-of-the-art energy storage and virtual power plant system in Japan

PRINCETON, N.J., Dec. 10, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightergy, a North American-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lightening Grid Québec (LGQ) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Canon Marketing Japan (CMJ) to develop a new and efficient energy infrastructure, leveraging Lightergy and LGQ's advanced technology to build and deploy a state-of-the-art energy storage and virtual power plant (VPP) system in Japan. The MOU was signed at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo.
