The USA Unrivaled Women's Basketball League announced on Tuesday that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Under Armour, which will become its official uniform partner and game equipment provider. Prior to this, the Unrivaled Women's Basketball League announced some big-name players it recently signed and reached a media broadcasting agreement with TNT Sports in October.
The Unrivaled Women's Basketball League is a new professional women's basketball league co-founded by WNBA stars Stewart and Collier, with games running from January to March, featuring 30 players divided into six teams, competing in 3V3 and 1V1 matches in Miami.
Under Armour will provide game outfits and other equipment for all players, coaches, and staff both on and off the court.
The financial terms of the Trade have not been disclosed by either party.
Sean Eggert, the Senior Vice President of Global Sports Marketing at Under Armour, stated: "We are thrilled to partner with the Unrivaled Women's Basketball League to equip some of the world's finest female basketball athletes, allowing them to compete on this exciting new stage."
The retailer indicated that all players without valid sneaker contracts will have the option to choose Under Armour basketball shoes. In addition, the company will also provide players with the opportunity to create custom products.
