Yondenko <1939> is a comprehensive equipment construction company based in the Shikoku area. According to the new “management philosophy” established on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of our founding in 2023/5, the purpose (meaning of existence) is “connecting people, society, and the future as an evolving comprehensive equipment enterprise,” and “we build strong infrastructure and sustainably support society,” “realize an equipment environment rich in functionality, and meet customer expectations,” “we value people and continue to refine technology,” and “we value people and continue to refine technology,” and “employee experience) “Cooperation and Appreciation” is advocated, and business area expansion strategies to the Tokyo metropolitan area and Kansai area are being promoted based on technical capabilities and high-quality construction capability/maintenance capabilities that can be provided in one stop from electrical equipment construction to air conditioning/water supply and drainage equipment construction.
Total assets at the end of the interim period ending 2025/3 are 91845 million yen, net assets are 62900 million yen, shareholders' equity is 60327 million yen, and the equity ratio is 68.4%. As for the number of issued shares, a stock split was carried out with 1 common share to 3 shares with 2024/10/1 as the effective date, so assuming that the stock split was carried out at the beginning of the period, it is 48,766,410 shares (including 1,487,781 treasury shares). The head office is located in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, and domestic bases include Tokyo headquarters, Osaka headquarters, Tokushima/Kochi/Ehime/Kagawa branches, and various sales offices in Tohoku, Kyoto, Kobe, Okayama, Hiroshima, Okinawa, etc.
In addition to the company, the group consists of 26 subsidiaries (of which 15 are consolidated subsidiaries) and 8 affiliated companies. Consolidated subsidiaries are Accel Tokushima Co., Ltd., Axel Matsuyama Co., Ltd., Kochi Create Co., Ltd., Kagawa Create Co., Ltd., Cadewa Service Co., Ltd., Arigen Temperature Control Co., Ltd., Ai Electric Communication Co., Ltd., Ryoei Equipment Co., Ltd., Kansai Equipment Co., Ltd., Yokoyama Kogyo Co., Ltd., Beltech Co., Ltd. in the leasing business, Yonko Solar Co., Ltd., and Sow Power Co., Ltd. It is field solar power generation. Overseas, Yondenko Vietnam Company Limited (unconsolidated subsidiary) is being developed in Vietnam. Furthermore, the company is a company applying the equity method of Shikoku Electric Power (shareholding ratio 31.72%).
2. HISTORY
Four companies, Tokushima Electric Works Co., Ltd., Nankai Electric Works Co., Ltd., Iyu Electric Works Co., Ltd., and Kagawa Electric Works Co., Ltd. merged to establish Nankai Electric Works Co., Ltd. in Takamatsu City, and the trade name was changed to Shikoku Electric Works Co., Ltd. in 1965/12 and Yondenko Co., Ltd. in 1989/11. Since then, the business scale and business development area have been expanded by establishing new sales offices and utilizing M&A. The company celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023.
In terms of stocks, it was listed on the Osaka Stock Exchange (hereinafter, OSE) market section 2 in 1973/11, designated as a stock section 1 on the OSE market in 1979/10 (abolished in 2004/3), listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (hereinafter, Tokyo Stock Exchange) section 1 in 1979/11, and transitioned to the prime market due to the Tokyo Stock Exchange market classification review in 2022/4.
