The "Levorg" inherits the grand touring DNA of SUBARU, which has been passed down through generations, characterized by the principles of traveling farther, faster, more comfortably, and more safely. In this improvement, the interior design of some grades has been changed. The "Smart Edition EX" adopts the interior of the "GT-H EX," enhancing the quality. Additionally, the "Black Interior Selection" features a black roof and pillar trim, creating a more mature and calming design. Furthermore, changing the color scheme of the Bordeaux/Black leather seats in the "STI Sport EX" and "STI Sport R EX" enhances the sportiness while achieving a cohesive interior design.
In equipment related to driving assistance, the coordination between the "Driver Monitoring System" and "Driver Abnormality Response System" has been strengthened. The "Driver Abnormality Response System" will now activate not only for long periods of steering inactivity but also for the driver looking away or dozing off. Additionally, a pulse brake that prompts attention through intermittent braking and coasting has been added; the timing of the hazard lights flashing due to the activation of the "Driver Abnormality Response System" has been changed to begin simultaneously with the start of deceleration control. Moreover, the EyeSight system's "Vehicle Center Maintenance Control" and "Preceding Vehicle Follow Steering Control" have been improved. While driving near the center of the lane on straight roads, the steering feel has been softened for easier intervention, and in the case of sharp curves or when driving near the white line, the steering feel has been made heavier for safety consideration, providing a more reassuring and comfortable long drive.
In addition, a special specification vehicle based on the "STI Sport R EX," named "STI Sport R-Black Limited," has been newly established. The interior features a suede-like finish for the instrument panel mid trim and door trim, along with black RECARO front seats (with STI logo) *1. Additionally, the exterior is enhanced with black door mirrors and roof antennas, further emphasizing its sportiness.
