The INAX shower toilet bidet nozzle has won the "SILVER" award for two consecutive years at the "Femtech Japan Award 2024."
We would like to announce that the INAX shower toilet bidet nozzle from LIXIL Corporation (hereinafter referred to as LIXIL) has received the "SILVER" award for two consecutive years at the "Femtech Japan Award 2024," which honors outstanding products and services in the femtech and femcare fields.
"Femcare" refers to all products and services that care for women's bodies and health, and is attracting attention for contributing to a society and environment that is more conducive to women's work and improving quality of life (QOL).
At LIXIL, innovation utilizing the wisdom and perspectives of diverse employees, as well as promoting various collaborations inside and outside the company, aim to respond to diverse needs and support the health and comfortable lives of everyone. One of these initiatives involves working on product development related to femcare, focusing on solving health challenges specific to women.
At the event 'Femtech Japan 2024/Femcare Japan 2024', aimed at raising awareness of femtech among more people, the 'Femtech Japan Award' awarded for outstanding products and services in the femtech and femcare fields was received for the second consecutive year, winning 'SILVER' (Silver Award). The bidet nozzle that won this award was developed over 35 years ago and is equipped in all models of INAX's shower toilets. By separating the nozzles for rear and bidet use, it alleviates concerns such as 'I don't want to wash my delicate area with a nozzle used for cleaning the rear,' allowing for peace of mind when caring for the delicate area.
In receiving the award, we received many comments from judges and the public such as 'The cleanliness of the delicate area is important, providing features that women can use with peace of mind' and 'It was appreciated that efforts have been ongoing for decades before the term femcare was even coined.'
Moreover, LIXIL offers proposals not only for the 'bidet-specific nozzle' for shower toilets but also for 'toilet hand washing' for situations when hands may get dirty with menstrual blood during menstruation, enabling hand washing within the toilet, as well as 'toilet storage' which allows for the storage of sanitary items so that they can be taken out while seated, proposing comfortable plans for women when considering the 'entire toilet space.'
LIXIL will continue to realize a rich and comfortable life through products related to femcare.

Femtech aims to solve women's unique health issues through Technology. INAX's shower toilet features two nozzles, one for "rear" and one for "bide," across all models. These two nozzles were developed in collaboration with female employees to meet customer needs over 35 years ago in 1988. Since its release, the water pressure and Range from both nozzles have been continually refined to match user needs.
