On December 12, Glonghui reported that WEIHAI BANK (09677.HK) announced that the Board of Directors proposed (i) to change the full Chinese name of the bank from "威海市商业银行股份有限公司" to "威海银行股份有限公司"; (ii) to change the short Chinese name of the bank from "威海市商业银行" to "威海银行"; (iii) to change the full English name of the bank from "WEIHAI CITY COMMERCIAL BANK CO., LTD." to "WEIHAI BANK CO., LTD."; (iv) to change the short English name of the bank from "WEIHAI CITY COMMERCIAL BANK" to "WEIHAI BANK"; and (v) to correspondingly change the part "威海市商业银行股份有限公司" in the names of the bank's branches to "威海银行股份有限公司".
