Lib Work <1431> announced on the 12th that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Teijin <3401> for the development of wooden houses that realize large spaces.
Teijin has developed a high-performance fiber-reinforced laminated material “LIVELY WOOD (Lively Wood),” which combines domestically produced wood and carbon fiber. The company aims to contribute to the realization of rich lifestyles and regional happiness and consideration for the global environment through sustainable housing development.
As the first step in the partnership, the company will begin selling the wooden house “LIVELY VILLA (LIVELY VILLA)” series planned and designed by Teijin from 2025/1. Teijin plans and designs new houses utilizing the company's building materials and licenses. The company will expand sales of houses planned and designed by Teijin by utilizing license sales in the platform business already being developed for housing companies and construction companies nationwide. Both companies aim to improve the brand value of “LIVELY VILLA” by grasping customer needs and carrying out optimal promotion activities. Furthermore, by promoting cooperation with domestic construction companies and housing manufacturers, we aim to sell a total of 1,000 buildings in the series by 2030. Both companies aim to utilize forest resources and realize rich lifestyles for people through the same initiatives.
