Nivea KAO Corporation (President: Masaya Iwasaki) will launch 'Gel', 'Essence', and 'Tone Up Essence', which are the first major improvements of the 'Nivea UV Deep Protect & Care' series, along with the newly introduced 'Nivea UV Deep Protect & Care Milk Mist' on February 8, 2025.

In a survey about skin concerns caused by sunburn, approximately 80% responded that they are worried about "spots" caused by sunburn*2. With high UV cut effectiveness, while preventing sunburn-related spots and freckles, the idea of "DEEP PROTECT & Care"★ provides moisture to the skin. The UV "NIVEA UV Deep Protect & Care" series for preventing sunburn-related spots*1 was born in 2021.
Since its release, the concept of "DEEP PROTECT & Care"★ has resonated with many, and thanks to everyone, the series sales amount in 2023 has increased by over 230% compared to 2021*3.
However, while about 70% want to reapply sunscreen during the day for sunburn spot prevention*4, fewer than 30% are actually able to do so*5. Moreover, they not only wish to easily reapply but also want items that combine UV protection and skincare effects to protect their skin from exposure during the day.
Therefore, in 2025, the fifth year since launch, a major improvement of the existing lineup of three products and the release of 'NIVEA UV Deep Protect & Care Milk Mist', which makes reapplying sunscreen during the day easier, will respond to both needs.

In the first major improvement, attention is paid to the fact that both UV-B and UV-A are involved in the cause of spots. While maintaining the pleasant feel of skincare that has been well received, it prevents sunburn spots with SPF50+/PA++++.
The newly released 'Nivea UV Deep Protect & Care Milk Mist' is convenient for reapplying during the day and prevents spots caused by sunburn with its common feature of SPF50+/PA++++ in the series. The milky white UV milk instantly transforms into a mist, clinging closely to the skin with a radiant finish without leaving a white residue. While effectively blocking intense ultraviolet rays, it maintains a sense of glow and moisture like a beauty treatment even after some time.

Regarding SPF and PA indications.
