Recently, Jinko Energy, the world's most innovative energy storage solution provider, announced the successful delivery of Tahiti's first large-scale photovoltaic and energy storage system (PV+ESS) project, located in Tahiti, French Polynesia. This milestone marks an important step in French Polynesia's path towards a sustainable future.

The project covers an area of 10 hectares and has installed 8.6 MW Jinko Tiger Neo series photovoltaic modules and a 17.2 MW Suntera energy storage system. It is estimated that more than 15,000 megawatt-hours of electricity can be generated each year, which is equivalent to providing clean, reliable and sustainable energy for more than 5,000 households in Tahiti.

Jinko Energy Storage's Blue Whale SunTERA system has C5 grade corrosion resistance, is capable of adapting to Tahiti's offshore environmental conditions and climate, and ensures long-term stability and high durability of the system.

Roberto Murgioni, head of Jinko Energy Storage Europe, said: “We are honored to contribute to Tahiti's renewable energy goals through this pioneering PV+storage project. “This achievement is a testament to Jinko's strong commitment to delivering innovative and impactful renewable energy solutions around the world.”

The project not only highlights Jinko's technological leadership in the global energy sector, but also highlights the company's commitment to empowering communities through sustainable energy solutions.
