On the 17th, SBS Holdings <2384> announced that its subsidiary, SBS Logicom, received a commendation from the three associations during the '2024 Business-use Automobiles Accident Prevention Competition' hosted by the Kanagawa Prefecture Taxi Association, the Kanagawa Prefecture Bus Association, and the Kanagawa Prefecture Truck Association. Additionally, its subsidiary, SBS Logicom Kanto, received awards from the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Chief and the Director of the Kanto Transport Bureau's Kanagawa Transport Branch on the 2nd.
This competition aims to promote a heightened awareness of traffic safety and thorough safe driving among member businesses and drivers, working collaboratively among organizations related to business-use automobiles to prevent traffic accidents. During the evaluation period (from the day of the previous year's review to the day before this year's review), businesses that did not have administrative penalties, accidents resulting in injury or death, and that consistently contributed to traffic safety throughout the year and submitted reports were assessed based on the total miles driven during the competition period. The company was recognized for the achievements made in its efforts toward safe driving and accident prevention.
