SG Holdings Inc. has been certified and recognized for its efforts in diversity and inclusion with the "D&I AWARD 2024" (Operation: JobRainbow Inc.), receiving the highest rank of "BEST Workplace" for four consecutive years.
The SG Holdings Group has been developing projects aimed at promoting the active participation of women since 2011. Currently, in addition to promoting women's participation, efforts are evolving towards advancing DE&I for all employees, including LGBT, foreign national employees, people with disabilities, and senior talent, aiming to create an organization where diverse personnel can grow continuously through various initiatives.
Main initiatives of the SG Holdings Group
・Exciting Diversity Committee
To promote DE&I across the group, the "Exciting Diversity Committee" has been established. This committee supports the planning and execution of DE&I promotion measures tailored to the circumstances of each company. Furthermore, to accelerate DE&I promotion across the entire group, it provides opportunities for information exchange among business companies facing similar challenges and shares the latest information on DE&I.
・In-house nursery "SGH Kids Garden"
To support the early return to work of female employees after maternity and childcare leave, as well as to assist in balancing work and family life, the in-house nursery "SGH Kids Garden" has been established. This facility achieves education and safety standards comparable to licensed nurseries and contributes to the support of employees' return to work, as well as the social advancement of employees' spouses.
Efforts related to LGBT.
Volunteers from within the group were recruited to widely promote the activities of our company group outside, aiming to enhance understanding of LGBT within the group and promote ALLY activities. Approximately 40 employees, along with their families and friends, participated in "Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024."
In the fiscal year 2024, "LGBT Seminar" was held targeting newly appointed managers, HR and recruitment personnel, and representatives from each company. The seminar included workshops to deepen understanding of basic knowledge about LGBT, updates on the latest information, and considerations regarding workplace responses, along with a talk session with LGBT individuals, allowing attendees to hear the genuine voices of the individuals, thus deepening understanding by reframing the issue as personal rather than external.
Additionally, to ensure that LGBT individuals both inside and outside our company group can interact with our employees in a safe environment, a "Rainbow Meeting" was held with the aim of increasing the number of ALLYs. Through movie screenings featuring LGBT themes and talk sessions with LGBT guests, we aimed to deepen understanding of LGBT and discuss "desirable words and actions as an ALLY."
Efforts related to childcare.
A support guide summarizing information on pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare was created, and the entire group is putting effort into providing information support for childcare. Furthermore, we are promoting men's parental leave, and in the fiscal year 2024, a "Men's Parental Leave Promotion Seminar" was conducted mainly targeting management. The seminar conveyed points of revision in the childcare and nursing care leave law and creating a workplace that makes it easier for men to take parental leave, along with a talk session with individuals who have experience in taking leave within the group.
We will continue our efforts to promote DE&I, fostering a corporate culture that is comfortable for all employees, while embodying a conglomerate that respects diverse values.

The largest award in Japan that recognizes and honors companies committed to D&I. D&I efforts are scored using a unique evaluation metric called the "Diversity Score," and certification is awarded based on the score.
Since the "D&I AWARD 2021," all have been certified as a "BEST Inc workplace."
At SG Holdings Group, all sexual minorities are included under the term "LGBT."
