Problems such as construction costs and standardization of battery specifications have become difficult points that hinder the popularity of power exchange stations. Meanwhile, the Ningde era made up its mind to solve these problems.
On December 18, Zeng Yuqun, chairman of the Ningde Era, made a rare appearance at his press conference to exchange electricity for chocolate. He also made no secret of his ambition to speed up the layout in the field of electricity exchange during the Ningde era. By 2030, electricity exchanges, home chargers, and public charging stations will be three parts of the world.
According to the plan of the Ningde era, it will build its own 1,000 chocolate power exchange stations in 2025, and will also enter Hong Kong and Macau; in the medium-term plan, it will jointly build 0.01 million sites with various partners; in the longer term, it will eventually reach 0.03 million chocolate power exchange stations through social co-construction.
Launching the Wanzhan Power Exchange Blueprint, the Ningde Era is the leading power battery company. The intention is to launch standardized battery products, lay out new infrastructure for power exchange networks, and allow more car companies, financial institutions and other partners to join to form a complete power exchange ecosystem.
The Ningde era also knew very well that this was not an easy task. Zeng Yuqun admits that electricity exchange is an asset-heavy, high-investment, and long-term industry. There are many stakeholders involved, and the chain is complicated. This requires further promotion of electricity exchange into the era of standardization, so that more partners can jointly build a power exchange ecosystem.

After solving the battery standardization problem, Ningde Times believes that this can drastically reduce the development cost of electric replacement models and reduce the new vehicle development cycle by more than half a year.
Yang Jun stressed that standardization does not lead to homogenization. Ningde Times provides battery solutions, while car company partners take advantage of intelligence and individualization.
The power exchange program introduced in the Ningde era is indeed very efficient. Officially, it is claimed that the 100s power exchange is, and at the scene, Wall Street saw that the power exchange for some demonstration models can reach about 80s. This far exceeds the current charging time of the current fast charging and energy replenishment plan for batteries of the same size.
In terms of usage costs, the Ningde Era also first introduced the “lithium iron phosphate version” battery rental price to the market. The monthly rental price ranges from 369 yuan to 599 yuan. In addition, users can also freely choose to upgrade the battery, or buy back the battery.
At present, Ningde Times has announced cooperation with car companies such as Changan, Guangzhou Automobile, BAIC, Wuling, and FAW to launch ten models, which have been launched one after another since the end of this year. New models will be introduced to the market almost every quarter from now on.
Of course, most of the current users who buy and exchange tram models are considering online car-hailing. The monthly travel mileage is more than 4,000-5,000 kilometers. How to adapt to more homely scenarios and eliminate users' prejudice when buying cars through innovation in model products and monthly battery pack plans is a problem that needs to be addressed in order to further promote the popularization of the power exchange model.
In addition to car companies, the Ningde Era also announced the opening of cooperation with financial institutions and insurance institutions in the field of electricity exchange to further dispel consumers' concerns about using cars and exchanging cars. For example, insurance companies such as China People's Insurance will provide professional battery insurance, reducing battery premiums from 2,000 yuan to 500 yuan; financial institutions such as CMB Rent will provide innovative financial products and services to turn the current vehicle finance plan into a vehicle body finance plan, further reducing the cost of buying a car.
This will allow mainstream market consumers who are sensitive to car purchase costs to buy vehicles at a lower threshold. In addition to technological innovation, it is also a further innovation in business models. Ningde Times revealed that it has now signed 0.1075 million battery subscriptions with 30 companies.
Zeng Yuqun said that power exchange is a complex innovation. It is a kind of reconstruction of new energy products based on user requirements. It is also a key, providing every consumer with a more economical, more convenient, safer and more environmentally friendly way to travel.
The exchange of electricity is also a key to opening up a new future for itself in the Ningde era.
In just 13 years, the Ningde era has taken advantage of new energy, rapidly rising, with a market capitalization exceeding trillion dollars. Currently, it has become one of the few important suppliers in China with a voice in the international new energy industry chain. But it also knows that in order to stand firm and stand for a long time, we need to go further in the new energy era and continue to innovate in technology and business models.
According to CITIC Securities's estimates, under current investment costs, the break-even point for a single passenger car power exchange station serves about 60 vehicles per day.
This also means that as battery investment costs decrease and the number of electric exchange models increases, the operating economy of power exchange stations will also improve.
In the future, with the completion of 0.03 million power exchange stations integrating storage and charging, this is equivalent to having 0.03 million distributed energy storage units, which can handle a total of 33.6 million kilowatts of electricity. Coupled with the batteries assembled on the service vehicle, a huge energy storage network is formed from this. The Ningde Era can schedule “brain” cloud platforms to enable these energy storage units to connect to power grids and park photovoltaics, participate in grid interaction, and respond to grid calls.
In addition to current labels such as power battery manufacturers, the Ningde Era can also become a “battery asset operator” and even a “future energy operator.” The Ningde era will also have more possibilities to find a new future for itself.
