■ About the initiatives of the Sega Sammy Group
The Sega Sammy Group positions diversity, equity, and inclusion at the core of its management and is working to create an environment where all employees can maximize their potential. In 2024, new initiatives, including the following, have been advanced.
Nursing care often suddenly becomes necessary, differing from childbirth and childcare. Additionally, many employees may take on nursing care responsibilities in the future, which leads to difficulties in balancing work and care. Consequently, a video series is being produced to deepen employees' knowledge and understanding before the need for nursing care arises. The videos are planned and supervised by an employee with experience as a public health nurse who has worked on the front lines of nursing care, aiming to improve understanding. Furthermore, leveraging the expertise of an entertainment company, in-house VTubers are used to address the often dark topic of nursing care in a more positive manner. | |
As part of the initiatives aimed at promoting women's empowerment for employees, a 'Health Care Seminar for Working Women' was held. From the follow-up survey results, it became clear that there is a demand for specialized knowledge about women's health and increased understanding in the workplace. Against this backdrop, starting in April 2024, a 'Free Consultation Service' for fertility and infertility will be established to consult with experts. Additionally, as a support measure for career development, a 'Free AMH Test' to check the remaining number of eggs has been introduced. These initiatives can be utilized not only by employees but also by their families and partners. |
In the future, the Sega Sammy Group will continue to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating an environment where diverse talents can thrive authentically, and will continue to provide everyone with inspiring experiences.
