Uni-Charm receives a letter of appreciation from the Forestry Agency for the 'Green Fund'.
Contributing to regional environmental conservation together with 22 business partners.
Uni-Charm Corporation (President and CEO: Takahara Yoshihisa) collaborated with 22 retail trade partners to implement an initiative to donate a portion of sales from targeted products to environmental protection organizations. This contribution to regional environmental conservation has been recognized, and we would like to announce that we received a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Forestry Agency based on the recommendation of the Public Interest Incorporated Association of National Greening Promotion Organization.

Background
Our company announced the mid- to long-term ESG goal "Kyo-sei Life Vision 2030" in October 2020, aiming to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by addressing "climate change response." As part of this initiative, we collaborated with 22 partner retail companies that support sustainable environmental conservation activities in local communities, donating a portion of the sales from targeted commodities to the "Green Fund" implemented by the greening promotion committees of each prefecture. This effort has been recognized, and we have received a letter of appreciation.
Future developments.
We will continue such initiatives in the future in collaboration with partner companies to contribute to local communities and environmental conservation.
