In the Sector, Electricity and Gas, Real Estate, Services, Nonferrous Metals, and Chemicals are among the top decliners, while Banking, Marine Transportation, Warehouse and Transportation-related, Insurance, and Other Products are among the top gainers.
The Nikkei average is slightly reducing its decline. The Dow Inc Futures appear to be showing resilience in extended hours trading, which seems to provide a sense of security in the Tokyo market. Meanwhile, the Bank of Japan decided to postpone interest rate hikes during the monetary policy meeting, but a press conference with Governor Ueda is scheduled afterward, and it seems that active buying will continue to be limited as this evaluation is awaited.
